• 3:00 PM – Arrival & Check-In at Lodging
• 4:00 PM – Welcome Gathering at DeeAnn's Home
  Light snacks, beverages, yard games & introductions
  No cost

 

Friday, July 24, 2026 - Central Park Shelter House, Arnold’s Park (84 Dewey St, Arnolds Park, IA 51331)

• 9:00 AM - Pancake Breakfast & Family Tree Updates

            Pancakes, bacon or sausage, fruit, juice and coffee

             No cost

• 12:00 PM – Sandwich and Salad Bar
  Cost: $10/person 

• 1:00 PM - Enjoy Arnold’s Park and the Lakes Area

Suggested activities: Beach time, Queen boat ride, Arnolds Park Amusement Park, Maritime Museum, mini-golf, kayaking, paddle boarding, Okoboji Classic Cars museum, Pearson Lakes Art Center, Nature Center, Central Emporium shopping, golf (reservations recommended).

• 5:30 PM – Swedish Heritage Dinner & Auction - First Lutheran Church, 1525 Three Cross Road, Milford
  Traditional Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, vegetable, lefse with Lingonberry jam, Scandinavian cookies, shared stories, annual auction and family photos.

            Cost: $25/person

• 8:00 PM – Optional Evening Options

Saturday, July 25 - Central Park Shelter House, Arnold’s Park (84 Dewey St, Arnolds Park, IA 51331)

• 9:00 AM - Continental Breakfast

Spudnutz donuts (made from potato flour), yogurt bar, hard boiled eggs, juice and coffee. No cost

Enjoy the Farmer’s Market, Corvettes in the Park, and the Wooden Boat Show

• Lunch on your own followed by Free Time to enjoy the Lakes Area

Free Time or Optional Group Outings 

• 6:00 PM – Picnic Dinner

Hamburgers & hotdogs, salads, chips and watermelon, s'mores and Nutty Bars

Cost: $15/person 

• 7:30 PM – FREE Live Concert at the Green Space - "The Fabulous Thunderbirds"
• 9:30 PM – Fireworks Over West Lake Okoboji

Sunday, July 26

• 8:30 AM – Drive-In Worship Service
  Casual, come-as-you-are service at First Lutheran Church, 1525 Three Cross Road, Milford, Iowa
• 10:00 AM – Farewell Coffee & Pastries at DeeAnn Vaage’s home (42 Ann Street, Milford, IA)
  Share hugs, swap contacts, and reflect on the weekend
